We hope this e-news finds all clients safe and well at this time.
Robina Village Real Estate acknowledges these are challenging times as Australia and the Global Community work together in the wake of the Coronavirus (COVID-19). We want to reassure you that we continue to communicate with tenants, lessors, staff and maintenance services on our capability to deliver our services and alleviate any concerns people may have about the COVID-19 situation.
The disruption across the community is something most of us have never experienced before. We all have a role to play and we will work with community, health and government bodies to ascertain what we can do to assist.
Recent data from countries that have been affected by COVID-19 ahead of Australia, indicate that we can expect an unprecedented amount of disruption over the coming months. With the situation changing so rapidly, these decisions are difficult and complex. But we will monitor for the longer term until we get back to normal, rest assured.
Over the past weeks, we have been closely working with our tenants and lessors to ensure we do not unduly delay the management of our tenancies i.e. rent expiry/renewals, maintenance, insurance work completion, new properties and marketing etc. while implementing new strategies.
We have thoroughly considered the potential risks and advice from the World Health Organisation, State Government, Federal Government, Industry Bodies and are continually monitoring and developing strategies to ensure adequate steps taken to prevent the unintended transmission of viruses.
With the situation changing so rapidly, these decisions are difficult and complex.
OFFICE CLOSED and ELECTRONIC MANAGEMENT
Our staff are busy working remotely to support our management, carrying this out electronically while the OFFICE is NOW CLOSED. Co-principals only are attending here in the office when required to ensure we continue to provide sanitised keys to repair services for emergency and essential services only and for end of month disbursement, receipting, paying creditors etc. Business as usual, of course, not to miss these critical ledger efficiencies.
OPEN HOMES and AUCTIONS
The law has been amended to restrict Auction and Open Homes. This is completely understandable and crucial, we respect this. Rest assured, our office does not conduct Auctions or Open Homes generally and will be carrying out ONLY essential private inspections for those owners who currently have a property for sale. Hand sanitiser will be used, and potential buyers and tenants will be asked essential questions about their health before entering for private inspections only.... will not be allowed to touch surfaces etc.
